EN Corporate Videos: Research and Planning

What was the brief set by the Admissions, Marketing and Engagement Manager? The brief set by Admissions, Marketing and Engagement Manager was that we had to make a series of  promotional videos for the college's website/social media, the subjects included; Enhance and Extend, the Futures team, Why come to EN, Curriculum and T-Levels.  What is flexible / negotiable, and what is stated as essential? When are the deadlines? For what was essential to the videos is that the videos must be 90 seconds or less/at least 2 minutes  (though was allowed to be more if the video length went over by only a few seconds/depending on what subject you were making the video). It was mandatory to have the video at a professional standard as the videos would go up on to the college's official site and social medias to promote themselves. The deadline for the videos was the rough cut for each of the videos, due the 27th November and the final cut being due on the 16th December.  ...

The Nature and Purposes of Research

Primary research "Primary research is research you conduct yourself (or hire someone to do for you.) It involves going directly to a source – usually customers and prospective customers in your target market – to ask questions and gather information." ( https://www.thehartford.com/business-insurance/strategy/market-research/primary-second-research ) The definition of primary research is when any type of research is collected by yourself.  Examples of primary research is surveys, interviews and observations. As the way you have collected the research by yourself rather than someone else (as this would be secondary rather than primary).  An example of the use of primary research in my own work is when the questionnaire was made as I collect the research by myself as getting information from the internet or other sources was not the best to use for the task.  Secondary research "Secondary research involves the summary, collation and/or synthesis of existing research.
